Of all the Pixar sequel ideas this sounds like a good one. Monsters University resurrects the voices of John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Steve Buscemi from the original 2001 release. This is the debut trailer. It’s lacking heart and pathos, but it promises to be a kiddie jamboree. It feels as if it’s a prequel. Here’s the press release statement: “Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. ‘Monsters University’ unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends.” Release is set to open June 21, 2013.
