Debut of the Baz Luhrmann-directed The Great Gatsby trailer. Luhrmann is a master of the overblown: “Moulin Rouge!” (2001) and “Australia!” (2008). I dunno, something tells me that the upcoming film is going to disregard the vernacular of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s original prose. In other words, Luhrmann is making a bastardization of the 1925 classic novel. Whether it’s an entertaining bastardization is something to hope for.

All Luhrmann judges out there… What are your thoughts on the trailer?
